HARMAN Luxury Audio Group returns to Audio Advice Live 2026, the nation’s premier consumer showcase for high-end audio and home entertainment, August 7-9 at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Inside the HARMAN Luxury Audio listening room, Oak Forest B, four systems each make their own case for what reference-level sound can do: a JBL Summit and Mark Levinson pairing, a JBL Synthesis reference cinema, a Revel and ARCAM two-channel system, and a JBL lifestyle setup.
JBL Summit and Mark Levinson: Two Flagship Legacies, One Room
The JBL Summit lineup will be on display, including the Ama, Pumori, and Makalu loudspeakers. Each model is engineered around JBL’s D2 compression drivers and HDI Sonoglass horn geometry for imaging and dynamic control that hold together even at high output. The Makalu pairs a 12-inch woofer with an 8-inch midrange, both built from JBL’s HC4 composite cone material, for bass that commands a room without losing the midrange detail underneath it. Pumori, a three-way design with a 10-inch woofer and 8-inch HC4 cone midrange, is voiced for lifelike scale and warmth, while the compact two-way Ama proves scale isn’t the only route to authority, surfacing texture and nuance most speakers lose entirely. This showcase arrives in a milestone year for JBL, which marks 80 years of acoustic engineering in 2026 and has introduced the Summit lineup’s newest flagships, Summit Everest and Summit K2, named for the legendary JBL Project loudspeakers that came before them.
Driving the full lineup are Mark Levinson’s 600 Series electronics, the № 626 Dual-Monaural Preamplifier and № 632 Dual-Monaural Amplifier, embodying more than 50 years of the brand’s Pure Path circuit philosophy and bringing the full measure of both legacies into a single room.
A 7.4.2 Reference Home Cinema, Engineered by JBL Synthesis
At the center of the HARMAN Luxury Audio experience is a JBL Synthesis home cinema voiced entirely through the new SCL-XL loudspeaker series, ranging from the flagship SCL-10XL to the architectural SCL-2XL. These are speakers engineered to deliver the scale, control, and low-end authority that separates a true private cinema from a living room with a big screen in it.
Powering the system is the new SDP-70 Immersive AV Processor, a 24-channel platform making its Audio Advice Live debut in a 7.4.2 configuration. Rather than correcting sound after it leaves the speakers, the SDP-70’s Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART) measures and treats the room itself, so bass lands even, dialogue stays anchored to the screen, and every channel arrives balanced and true to the mix no matter where a listener is seated.
Revel Performa4: Reference Sound, Every Seat
The complete Revel Performa4 lineup will be on display, spanning the F346 and F345 floorstanders, the M146 and M145 bookshelf models, the C245 center channel, and the B140 subwoofer. Performa4 is built around Revel’s newly developed DCC and MCC ceramic composite transducers, chosen for exceptional rigidity and dramatically lower coloration than conventional drivers, mated to a 7th-generation Acoustic Lens Waveguide engineered to sharpen imaging and hold it steady even off-axis, so the sound doesn’t collapse the moment a listener leaves the center seat. The new lineup arrives in Revel’s 30th anniversary year.
ARCAM Meets Revel for Two-Channel Purity
A dedicated two-channel system pairs Revel’s flagship Performa4 F346 loudspeakers with a complete ARCAM Radia setup: the new A50 Signature integrated amplifier, the new CD25 CD player, and the ST25 streamer. The A50 Signature is ARCAM’s most complete integrated amplifier to date: its first fully dual mono Class G design, with each channel built as its own discrete amplifier section for maximum separation, delivering 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms. The CD25 brings that same dual mono philosophy to disc playback, ARCAM’s first since the FMJ D33 to do so. Both products mark 50 years of audio design for the Cambridge-based brand, driving the F346 with the kind of detail and instrument precision that turns a good recording into a genuinely immersive one.
