Zilenzio, an Allsteel partner brand and leader in sound-absorbing solutions, announces the launch of Hikari, an acoustic pendant lamp created in collaboration with renowned designer Olof Nordensom of White Arkitekter. The padded sound-absorbing materials of the lamp – including its high-density PET frame and recycled PET fiber filling – allows for exceptional acoustic control within spaces. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese word for “light,” Hikari embodies clarity and tranquility within commercial interiors.
Hikari blends lighting and sound absorption, addressing the need for both acoustic and visual comfort in modern interiors. Inspired by arches of Gothic architecture, Hikari’s sleek form features upward-reaching lines that evoke serenity and openness, making it an ideal choice for workplaces, hospitality environments, and other flexible spaces.

The creative partnership, where Zilenzio’s expertise in acoustics meets White Arkitekter’s design capabilities, resulted in a product crafted with adaptability in mind. Hikari offers:

Available in three sizes—23.6”, 31.5”, and 43.3”—Hikari also offers numerous fabric and color choices for its PET frame.
