CoeLux lets you experience the sky even in an indoor space with no windows

COELUX® IS AN OPTICAL SYSTEM BASED ON NANO TECHNOLOGY that artificially reproduces the natural light and visual appearance of the sun and sky. Much has been reported on biophilia and how projecting outdoor environmental cues into spaces gives homeowners or employees in an office environment a sense of calm and meshes with our internal, natural rhythms. Without a doubt, this skylight experience from CoeLux is one of the most revolutionary products I’ve ever designed into a project in over 30-years of technology design and integration.

The new CoeLux HT 25 gives you the freedom to create a dramatic space. Its distinctive 25 cm thickness is suitable for recessed installations even in small heights, in plasterboard false ceilings or modular ones. It can be installed in different compositions and the subtle design of the frame facilitates the creation of semi-continuous windows, creating the perception of large portions of sky.
Moving around the space below the system, the homeowner will see a large portion of sky and by approaching and entering the emitted spot the sun will appear, slightly diffused and not very dazzling. The optical design helps to create the sun perceived at infinite distance and the observer, moving in space, will have the impression that the sun is always positioned above their head.

CoeLux artificial windows and skylights reproduce the true effect of the light and space of the outdoors. The products faithfully mimic natural sunlight, a clear blue sky and its infinite depth. One distinct “sun” bursts down into the scene through the opening, either on the ceiling or on the wall. Objects shine in the exceptional light and cast sharp and blue-toned shadows, colored by the sky.
For those who prefer the dramatic effect of tropical light, the CoeLux 60 HC offers a solution for a skylight featuring a 60-degree solar-elevation angle. Due to the vertical-type of sun beam direction, the product guarantees the highest contrast, the sharpest shadows and the minimum level of glare among current CoeLux solutions. The CoeLux 60 HC is designed for ceiling installation, and features an aperture of approximately
13 feet.
