Women in Consumer Technology pre-lunch networking event. Mimosas and Bloody Marys!
Don’t miss some of the best products and experiences coming your way this September in Denver.
There is always a ton of good stuff to see and do at CEDIA Expo. We’re back again in Denver September 3 – 7 and our pre-show coverage starts this week with 10 not-to-be-missed booth visits and events we’re recommending you add to your schedule.
In the coming weeks leading up to Expo we’ll be making several announcements, including our winners in the 2025 Performance Home Awards. Next week we announce the Best Design winners and the following week we’ll announce the Best Product and Honoree winners. Additionally, we will be previewing notable products from some of the most prestigious manufactures in the Smart Home industry, many that will be on display and quite a few that will be introduced at CEDIA Expo.
#10 – Sony Booth 2052
Sony is always worth a visit since they are among the very finest video display companies on the planet. Our judges were blown away at some of the latest products they’ve brought to market in 2025, including the breathtakingly good BRAVIA series of TVs and Projectors.
The Sony BRAVIA 8 II offers a blend of advanced performance and thoughtful design that brings both function and form into the living space. Its minimalist aesthetic, with ultra-slim bezels, a sleek profile, and premium materials, ensures the TV complements a wide range of interior styles. Whether placed on a console or wall-mounted, it maintains a clean, elegant presence.
#9 – Coastal Source – Destination Outdoors
A leader in high-performance outdoor audio and lighting, Coastal Source will debut an entirely new outdoor audio category, offering a fresh approach to open-air sound experiences, and a powerful new lighting solution born from a unique industry collaboration.
The company is also celebrating 10 years of its category-defining Bollard Series with the 1000 Series Bollards, delivering enhanced clarity, tonal accuracy, and power handling plus the deep, dynamic bass the brand is known for.
You can experience it all at Destination Outdoors (right outside the CEDIA exhibition hall).
#8 – Apex Technologies – Booth 4316
Apex Technologies returns to CEDIA Expo 2025 with a clear and compelling message for home technology professionals: simplicity, control, power and performance delivered across every facet of high-end home and home cinema integration.
Reflecting its commitment to both home theater excellence and power quality, Apex has designed its exhibit with two distinct areas: one dedicated to its industry-leading power quality solutions, and the other focused on showcasing breakthrough technologies that elevate the home cinema experience.
#7 – DMF Lighting – Booth C1320
Don’t miss two exciting products released this year by DMF. Artafex Linear embodies DMF Lighting’s signature modularity while addressing the specific pain points integrators have faced for years with traditional linear solutions.
Artafex PhaseX, an advanced tunable white lighting solution developed specifically for the custom installation channel. After three years of dedicated research and development, PhaseX is designed to unlock the next big step in digital lighting while empowering integrators with a solution that’s simple, versatile and cost-effective to install.
#6 – Draper at Home – Destination Outdoors
During CEDIA 2025, Draper At Home will be introducing three new products to increase the performance and convenience of outdoor shades. Draper At Home will showcase the new solutions as part of Destination Outdoors, located outside and across the street from the show’s main entrance.
The FlexShade ZIP 127 and ZIP XL with Solar Panel mean no digging or tearing up concrete to install outdoor shades, because there is no power or wiring required. The solar panel maintains a continuous stream of power for the quiet, rechargeable battery-powered motors.
Battery motors are compatible with smart home systems via Bond Bridge Pro, and with the newly available Bond Weather Station, which will also be in action. The newly available Bond Weather Station monitors current weather conditions to make sure the shades are in the right place at the right time.
#5 – Technology Designer Curated Show Floor Tours
We’ve expanded our Day of Discovery tour schedule with morning and afternoon tours on both Thursday and Friday.
Thursday’s schedule includes, Enhance Your Design with Technology, Technology Designed to Disappear, and Explore the World of Intelligent Lighting.
Friday schedule includes Ambiance & Wellness Products, Indoor/Outdoor Entertainment, and TD’s Cool Stuff Tour.
Details and sign up form on the 2025 Day of Discovery website.
#4 – JBL Synthesis Theater – Booth 2512
For 2025, Samsung and HARMAN will be co-exhibiting in booth 2512. Obviously, both companies have tons of cool stuff, so this should be on everyone’s list of “must visits.”
But the real show stopper – and if you’ve never been to one, get there! – is the JBL Synthesis home theater demo room. This is simply a spine-tingling demonstration of how critical audio is to the cinematic experience. JBL was an early pioneer in Hollywood during the transition to ‘talkies’ and are renowned for their cinema audio products – both professionally and also for residential use. We can’t say enough about how blown away you’ll be after your demo.
#3 – Beyond the Surface | Where Design Has No Limits – Room 203
We mentioned in last week’s newsletter (and we’ll say it again!) that at this year’s CEDIA Expo, three pioneering brands, Steinway Lyngdorf, Alchimia and Basalte will unite under the banner Beyond the Surface | Where Design Has No Limits to transform High Performance Audio Room #203 into a destination for immersive, high-performance solutions that honor both aesthetics and innovation.
