RoseWater Energy Introduces Rugged Outdoor Enclosure

Telecom-inspired solution offers a space-saving alternative for homes where indoor installation is challenging or not permitted, helping integrators win more power management projects.

RoseWater Energy, the integration channel’s trusted resource for advanced, professionally installed power conditioning, energy management and storage systems for luxury homes, is making it easier for systems integrators to land lucrative power management projects with the introduction of a rugged outdoor enclosure option for its multi-award-winning RoseWater Energy HUB 40.

Inspired by the durable telecom cabinets used by providers like Verizon and AT&T to protect sensitive electronics in remote environments, the new enclosure expands installation possibilities for systems integrators and solves one of the most common challenges in residential power management: lack of indoor space.

With residential energy management becoming an increasingly critical part of the smart home ecosystem, RoseWater Energy’s new outdoor housing allows integrators to confidently deploy full-featured Energy HUBs in environments where interior space is limited or restricted. Each enclosure is powder-coated, weather-resistant, and engineered for long-term durability in harsh conditions, making them a viable option for all climates.

“This development is about eliminating objections and simplifying installations for our integration partners,” says Joe Piccirilli, CEO and Founder of RoseWater Energy. “Too often, projects are delayed or lost because there’s just no space inside the home for a large-scale power management system. With our outdoor enclosure, we’ve taken a proven concept from the telecom world and adapted it to meet the evolving needs of the CI market without compromising safety, performance or longevity.”

The enclosure supports the complete three-shelf battery configuration of the RoseWater Energy HUB 40 and accommodates a total system height of 60 inches. It includes an integrated climate-control system, either air conditioning or heating/cooling, to maintain stable internal temperatures year-round, protecting the electronics and batteries from extreme weather conditions.

Ideal for retrofits and municipalities that prohibit indoor battery systems, the outdoor HUB connects directly to the home’s breaker box just as it would in an indoor application. In many retrofit scenarios, outdoor cabling can even streamline installation by eliminating the need to run wires through finished walls.

This new option provides a strategic advantage to integrators working in luxury properties and environmentally sensitive areas, enabling more flexible system design and project approvals.

Outdoor installations are quoted on a per-project basis, allowing for tailored solutions that meet site-specific requirements. Integrators are encouraged to contact RoseWater Energy’s technical team to discuss the optimal configuration for each deployment.
