The transformation included a 900 series Samsung flat panel, a Sony Blu-ray player, a sophisticated surround sound system featuring Sonos, Martin Logan loudspeakers, KEF amps, and a Yamaha receiver. The lighting system includes an Epix Sky Custom Star Ceiling, and a Lutron Caseta lighting control and Lutron roller shades to enhance the cinematic atmosphere.
The true powerhouse of the home theater is the Pro Control system. It orchestrates every aspect of the room, offering multiple scene options based on the room’s purpose. From the Pro Control app or controller, the homeowners can set the room based on their viewing and listening pleasure.
The “movie time” button sets the stage with perfect lighting and activates the display, Sony Blu-ray player, and the audio system. Another scene allows for separate control of the room’s border RGB lighting, granting the flexibility to adjust colors or turn them off entirely. For the star ceiling, they can switch to fireworks display with synchronized audio. Audio options include a choice of multiple surround sound settings. They can even turn the lighting for the popcorn machine on and off.
