Legrand Shading and Vantage Shine a Light on New Solutions

Installers at CEDIA Expo 2023 will Learn How to Get Involved in Lighting and Shading With Vantage’s LHUMAN KolorTune™ and Legrand’s Shading Solutions.

Legrand Shading Systems and Vantage will present the latest in luxury and smart home shading and lighting control at CEDIA EXPO 2023, Sept. 7-9 in Denver. The Legrand | AV booth 1506 will feature the Experience Room where installers will see the latest in the Vantage LHUMAN human-centric lighting (HCL) solution, including KolorTune™ Fixture Alliance and Keypad partners, and Legrand Shading Systems’ motorized shading and accessories.

“Lighting control has become a top priority in homes. We are responding with solutions that bring ease and freedom of design to installers, so they can deliver the wellness and productivity benefits that make HCL successful,” said Richard Laliberty, Product Marketing Manager, Shading and Vantage Residential Controls, Legrand North America. “This year at CEDIA our Experience Room will immerse installers in a dedicated space to see how HCL can be easily brought to life with Vantage’s LHUMAN solution working together with the expansive portfolio of lighting fixtures from our partners, in addition to Legrand’s motorized shading solutions.”

At CEDIA EXPO 2023, installers won’t want to miss the latest development in Vantage’s LHUMAN HCL solution. With LHUMAN KolorTune™, intelligent lighting control becomes easier than ever with full color control and dimming of an extensive library of pre-tested tunable light fixtures from lighting fixture manufacturer partners. KolorTune offers the tunable controllable profiles needed to create lighting scenes with tested and precise color temperatures. Available within Vantage’s Design Center software, installers simply select the chosen fixture(s) and Design Center will provide the defined fixture control details and color temperature mapping for the lighting fixture. This not only achieves super simple and fast programming but also allows Vantage’s control processor to provide the correct color mix, producing accurate color temperature and intensity for the lighting task selected. What’s more, designers can mix and match tunable fixtures in the room with the assurance that values will match from fixture to fixture for cohesive room lighting; and it supports 0-10V, DMX, and DALI control protocols.

KolorTune’s ease of use and freedom of design will be demonstrated in the Experience Room using light fixtures from seven partners in the LHUMAN Light Fixture Alliance, including AiSPiRE/WAC, DMF Lighting, DiodeLED/Lucetta from Elemental LED, LF Illumination, Noº 8 Lighting, PureEdge Lighting, and Proluxe by American Lighting. The alliance also includes Colorbeam, Circa Lighting, Environmental Lights, Lucifer Lighting Company, Soraa Lighting, Specialty Lighting Industries, and Tech Lighting.

In addition to being part of the Vantage LHUMAN demonstration in the Experience Room, the latest shading solutions from Legrand will be on display. This includes the company’s curated fabric collections featuring the latest and most popular decorative, solar screen, sustainable, and room-darkening options from Coulisse, Twitchell, Phifer, Mermet, and more — perfect for dressing up windows in style and spicing up any room.

At the booth, Legrand Shading’s Designer Series decorative brackets open-roll shades match the aesthetics of any space. Designer Series decorative brackets and hembar endcaps are available in 15 finish styles across three collections: Premium, Glass, and adorne®. Premium finishes offer clean lines and are color-matched to Legrand’s radiant wiring devices, while adorne finishes perfectly complement switches and outlets from Legrand’s adorne Collection. Glass finishes are inspired by the Vantage EasyTouch Glass keypad and offer a reflective, mirror-like surface. Likewise, the Designer Series hembar endcaps’ modern shape completes the look with a consistent finish.

Installers will also have the opportunity to get up to speed and add immense value to their businesses with manufacturer’s training opportunities from Legrand. Legrand will offer “Embracing Digital Lighting and Controls” on Thursday, Sept. 7 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 8 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in room 110/112. Led by Vantage’s Product Manager Aaron Severtson, the session will explore the growth of digitally controlled lighting in the architectural space, answering many questions about the emerging technology and the control required to bring this dynamic lighting to life. Installers will learn different lighting technologies and valuable information for designing a control system, helping to remove any mystery from this rapidly growing sector of architectural lighting and control.
