Last week at CEDIA Expo, CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals™, proudly announced the winners of the 2024 CEDIA Smart Home Awards Americas. Sponsored by Lutron, AWOL Vision, and Kaleidescape, the event honored integrators, manufacturers, and influential individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry over the past year, delivering stunning projects, launching market-leading products, and providing invaluable volunteer efforts.
“The CEDIA Smart Home Awards are a testament to the innovation and dedication that define our industry,” said Daryl Friedman, Global President and CEO of CEDIA. “This year’s event was a remarkable success, with a full house of over 350 attendees. We came together to recognize the extraordinary talent and groundbreaking achievements that are driving the future of smart home technology.”
The evening of celebrations began with an exclusive members reception outside the Mile High Ballroom at the Colorado Convention Center and as the audience transitioned into the ballroom for the awards ceremony, the CE Pro All Star Band set the backdrop, building excitement for the nominees and attendees.
Alex Capecelatro, Chairperson of the CEDIA Board, welcomed attendees and introduced Toni Sabatino, a renowned interior designer and construction consultant as the evening’s host. CEDIA selected Toni to showcase the importance of fostering strong partnerships between the smart home professional industry and designers, along with other key industries.
Daryl Friedman also took to the stage to reinforce the message of recognition – not only relating to those who had been honored during the evening, but to emphasize the influential work that CEDIA and its members have been doing regarding advocacy to ensure the smart home industry gets the recognition it deserves among governments, adjacent industries and consumer.
