THE TAHOMA GATEWAY PRODUCT FROM SOMFY, the world’s largest manufacturer of tubular motors for interior window coverings and exterior solar protections, was recently awarded Best New Style Concept in the Motorization and Automation category by the Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA). The company has also been recognized as advancing the industry’s ongoing commitment to child safety.
The 30th Annual WCMA Product Awards recognized the best new products, educational and merchandising programs, across ten categories, launched over the past year in the window covering industry. Somfy’s TaHoma was awarded in the Automation and Motorization category for its ability to control a wide range of interior and exterior motorized products and integrate with other modern smart devices through its open technology platform.
Earlier this year, TaHoma was awarded gold in the Connected Home category of the 2021 Most Valuable Product Awards for Residential Construction by Products Magazine for its use of open, forward-thinking technology and the convenience it delivers to homeowners.
In addition to this year’s product awards, the WCMA also recognized ten companies committed to chil safety.
